[Winry has been watching the network for a while now. Since their arrival in Death City it had been something she and her brother have been able to access, but she insisted they just survey it before jumping in. The old info posts have been read, they've been keeping on top of new posts, they've tried the paper trick and as much as she hates to admit it this looks like the real deal.

Knowing her brother, he is going to want to be involved so she supposed she would be too. It didn't look like they had much of a choice in any case.]

Been watching this thing, reading posts, and skimming through some of the old ones. I know the basics and the consensus of what people believe is going on here. It is still a pretty hard to swallow but I've tried the tricks and after reading, hearing, and seeing things on this network it'd be pretty blind to deny.

Right now I guess what I would like to request is your experience and thoughts on all this. Maybe just see it through an individual's eyes would make me understand some things better, and let me know what [The text cuts off there when Winry hears her brother being dramatic in the other room. She listens for a moment suspiciously before checking out the network to see the following post:]

[It's late, and this post seems to be from a webcam. the room it shows is dark, and the person watching is cloaked in shadows, lit by the blue of the computer screen. In fact, it kinda looks like he's tilting his head in just a way to shadow his eyes on purpose.]

A group of bloodied heroes, battling an unknown and deadly foe. Their hopes strained in the face of brutal odds. But suddenly, hark! A new ally emerges from the darkness!

[He lifts his head dramatically... and knocks the camera over when sweeping his hand- also dramatically.]

Ah shit! No no no come back here!

[The view tilts dangerously, and re-centers right on his face. The overblown dramatics are replaced with a goofy grin]

Haa... sorry about that! Kinda ruined the moment. ANYWAYS so hi? Er, yeah... so hows that crazy supernatural numbers group thing going?

[In the background a door can be seen opening and some feet with fuzzy slippers make their way towards him.]

[Winry is missing the beach already. Snow is nice and all, but after experiencing such warm weather she was pretty much ready for Winter to be over. Winry is walking around outside which isn't too unusual for her. She has gone out a lot to collect whatever scrap metal she could find on occasion to stockpile for whenever her automail was needed. This time there is no need to search, with Ed's help she was able to get enough to last her a while.

So instead she's just leaving to get rid of some cabin fever, and wanting to see some other faces]

So far I have Winry as Arthur and Allen's sister aaaaand that's about it. If anyone else is related to her via either of them let me know? Or if you want to start anything new with her, I'm up for just about anything.

Backtagging: Most definitely yes and ALWAYS. I am an incredibly slow tagger so I'm usually always in a constant state of backtagging. I wouldn't be able to survive without it.
Threadhopping: Sure why not! I'm usually fine with it as long as the other person I'm threading with is too.
Fourthwalling: No thanks xD We don't need to give Winry an existential crisis.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): I'm pretty okay with anything as long as it is realistic for the character/situation and treated with the proper care and sensitivity it deserves OOCly. I understand if ICly some characters wouldn't be considerate about it.

[Winry's been pacing in the kitchen for a good couple minutes now, a clear look of distress on her face. She's trying really, really hard not to freak out but considering what has happened it is becoming increasingly more difficult. Finally she just takes out her PCD--she automatically reaches for voice, but considering her circumstances she's not sure anything she says would be easily understood.

People said the Animus only come on the network when they do something weird. They were on earlier. Does anyone know exactly what they did?

So I think I'm beginning to understand just what's going on here and the situation a little better. It's still a lot to take in, and a lot of the stuff, quite frankly seems to be unbelievable but I've been it by people I trust so. I guess I'm just going to have to believe it for now.

There are still a lot of questions I have, but there's something else that I think I need to get out of the way that's more important.

I was here before. Yet I have absolutely no recollection of being here. Apparently this isn't something unusual but it still doesn't really sit right with me. I hate to think that there are people I was once close to, that I've now forgotten so...this is an apology to everyone I have. If we were friends before, there is no reason we can't be again so please. If I did know you from my last time here in Adstringendum, don't hesitate to tell me.

[There's a tapping sound before a young voice can be heard]

Usually I don't think it's very polite to look a gift horse in the mouth, especially if said horse is something mechanical [pause, it doesn't really continue the idiom very well, does it?] but considering the circumstances I find myself in, and the fact I've never seen something like this it's hard not to. I mean, it's a phone right? I've never seen or even heard of one this small and compact existing back home. I doubt even the military has them.

So...so yea. If anyone is hearing this and can shed some light on what's going on, I'd really appreciate it.
